JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner, who was rank no.2 for appointment to the post of Municipal Financial Specialists (State Technical Cell) filed this writ petition aggrieved by the denial of appointment and the appointment of the 4th respondent who is ranked 8th in the rank list.

(2.) As per Ext.P1 notification issued on 20.01.2017, the 1st respondent invited applications for appointment to various posts including the post of Municipal Finance Specialist (State Technical Cell) as S.No.21 and Municipal Finance Specialist (City Level Technical Cell) as S.No.22. Separate rank lists were published for both these posts.
