SUO MOTU Vs. STATE OF KERALA

JUDGEMENT

(1.) This matter has been registered based on the Report No.15/2018 dated 01st of August, 2018 submitted by the Special Commissioner, Sabarimala appointed by this Court. The directions are sought for under the following heads:-

(2.) When the matter came up for consideration before this Court earlier, time was sought for to submit a panel of officers to be placed in the Vigilance wing by the Devaswom Board as well as by the learned Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the Government. The Devaswom Board has filed a statement dated 27.9.2018 giving the particulars of the officers identified by them as given in paragraph 2 of the said statement which is reproduced below for convenience of reference:-

With regard to the placement of officers from the police, the vacancy resulted because of the transfer given to the officer by name Prasanth (Trivandrum vacancy) was filled up by causing Sri.Manu P.Menon to be appointed from the panel submitted by the Government as per order dated 01.10.2018 in S.S.C.R.No.31 of 2014.
