JUDGEMENT

(1.) These matters relate to appointment to the posts of Part-time sweeper and temporary Security Guard in the service of the Thiruvananthapuram District Co-operative Bank. The parties and Exhibits are referred to, as they appear in WP.(C). No.34231 of 2016.

(2.) The facts relevant are the following: By virtue of Ext.P2 notification, the Bank invited applications for appointment to the posts of Part-time sweeper and temporary Security Guard. The petitioners have participated in the said selection process and secured first rank in the respective posts. Their case in the writ petition is that on account of Exts.P6 and P8 communications issued by the Registrar of Co- operative Societies, the Bank is not appointing them to the selected posts. Hence the writ petition, challenging Exts.P6 and P8 communications.

(3.) WP.(C).No.39560 of 2016 is filed by the Bank challenging Ext.P9 communication therein issued by the Registrar of Co-operative Societies interdicting appointments to the posts of Part Time Sweeper and temporary Security Guard.
