JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS is a petition filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The petitioner is the accused in Crime No.127/2007 of Alathur Police Station registered under Section 55(a) of the Abkari Act on the allegation that the petitioner was found transporting 15 plastic jerry cans of 35 litres of spirit each. He is in custody since 23.3.2007. Heard both sides.

(2.) IT is hereby ordered that the petitioner shall be released on bail on executing a bond for Rs.25,000/- with two solvent sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the court below. He shall not in any manner interfere with the investigation. The petitioner is directed that he shall report before the investigating officer on every Friday at 10.a.m. until the final report is filed.
