JUDGEMENT

(1.) PETITIONER seeks anticipatory bail on the allegation that the Mundakkayam police are at his heels at the instance of one Thomas Sebastian for allegedly cheating his son by inducing him to part with Rs.50,000/- promising visa for overseas employment.

(2.) LEARNED Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that eventhough a complaint was lodged by the said Thomas Sebastian, no crime has been registered against the petitioner as the matter was subsequently squared between the parties. If so, the apprehension of arrest and harassment entertained by the petitioner is unfounded. Recording the submission made by the Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed.
