JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner is the accused in crime No.462/1998 of Ottapalam Police Station/C.C.No.586/2006 in the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Ottapalam. The offences alleged are under Sections 143, 147, 148, 294(b), 506(ii) read with Section 149 IPC.

(2.) Heard both sides.

(3.) The petitioner is directed to surrender before the court below within two weeks from today onwards and apply for bail. The court below is directed to dispose of the same as far as possible on the same day itself. No pre-trial detention is required in the matter. The bail application is disposed of as above.
