JUDGEMENT

(1.) In this Petition filed under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. the petitioner, a lady, who is the accused in Crime No.1083/06 of Kollam East Police Station for an offence punishable under Section 420 I.P.C., seeks anticipatory bail.

(2.) I heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.

(3.) Having regard to the nature of the allegations levelled against the petitioner and the other circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, a direction is issued to the officer-in-charge of the police station concerned to release the petitioner on bail for a period of one month in the event of her arrest in connection with the above case on her executing a bond for Rs.10,000/- with two solvent sureties each for the like amount to the satisfaction of the said officer and subject to the following conditions:
