JUDGEMENT

(1.) Apprehending arrest in Crime No.3910/2023 of Ernakulam Central police station, Ernakulam, registered for offences under Ss. 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code, the accused has filed this petition.

(2.) The prosecution allegation is that the petitioner has deceived an amount of Rs.34,34,091.00 fraudulently receiving the insurance claim and submitting the invoice for the medicines which he had returned without consuming and thereby committing the above-said offences.

(3.) The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor were heard.
