JUDGEMENT

(1.) This is an application filed u/s 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking regular bail.

(2.) Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.188 of 2023 of Valavupacha Police Station. Offences alleged against the petitioner are under Ss. 294(b), 323, 326A, 307 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

(3.) The prosecution case is that, on 20/2/2023 at about 8.00 PM, the petitioner committed murder of his wife by pouring kerosene on her body and setting fire to her. The petitioner was arrested on 21/2/2023 and since then he has been under judicial custody.
