JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioners are the Secretary and the President of Venduttayi Kaitheri Puthiyedath Kandakarnakshethra Samrakshana Samithi. The Thira Maholsavam of the Temple is scheduled to be held on 30/1/2023 to 2/2/2023.

(2.) The petitioners state that different programs on the stage as well as within the Temple premises are arranged. The petitioners also propose to hold the ceremonial procession, which is to commence at 6 p.m. on 1/2/2023.

(3.) The petitioners apprehend that there may be obstructions to the ceremonies in the Temple by miscreants and unless effective and adequate police protection is provided to the petitioners to conduct the festival, the petitioners will be put to difficulties.
