JUDGEMENT

(1.) This is an application seeking regular bail filed under Sec. 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

(2.) Petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No. 682/2022 of the Kilimanoor Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram District. The offences alleged against the petitioner are under Ss. 366 and 354 A(1)(i) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sec. 7 r/w 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012

(3.) According to the prosecution, petitioner kidnapped the minor victim, aged 15 years and took her to a nearby property and kissed her after hugging and thereby committed the offences alleged.
