JUDGEMENT

(1.) This is an application seeking regular bail filed under Sec. 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

(2.) Petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.1660/2022 of Attingal Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram District. The offences alleged against the petitioner are under Ss. 354C, 354D and 509 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 apart from Sec. 66E, 67A, 67B(a) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Sec. 4 r/w Sec. 3(c), Sec. 12, r/w Sec. 11(ii), (iv), and Sec. 15 of the Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act, 2012

(3.) According to the prosecution, on a day in July 2022 and again during Onam 2022, petitioner forced the victim to disrobe herself during Whatsapp video Calls and thereby committed the offences alleged.
