XXXXXXX Vs. STATE OF KERALA

JUDGEMENT

(1.) This is an application seeking regular bail filed under Sec. 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

(2.) Petitioner is the accused in Crime No. 848/2022 of Kunnumkulam Police Station, Thrissur District alleging offences under Ss. 354, 354A(1)(i), and 354D of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sec. 8 r/w Sec. 7, Sec. 10 r/w Sec. 9(c), 9(d), 9(f), 9(p) and Sec. 12 r/w Sec. 11 (iv) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

(3.) According to the prosecution, on 16/6/2022 and 28/6/2022, the accused who is the staff of the school, where the victim is studying, committed sexual assault on her by kissing and groping her and thereby committed the offences alleged.
