JUDGEMENT

(1.) This is an application seeking regular bail filed under sec. 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

(2.) Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.731/2022 of Fort Kochi Police Station, Ernakulam alleging offences punishable under Ss. 452, 354, 511 of Sec. 376 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

(3.) According to the prosecution, on 23/9/2022 at midnight, the accused trespassed into the house of the victim and pushed her on to the bed and after grabbing her body, tore her dress and attempted to commit rape on her and thereby committed the offences alleged.
