JUDGEMENT

(1.) This is an application for anticipatory bail.

(2.) The petitioner is the first accused in Crime No.570/2017 of Manjeswar Police Station, Kasaragod District, alleging commission of offences punishable under Ss. 406, 409 and 420 of the IPC.

(3.) The prosecution allegation is that, the accused while working as the Secretary of Mangalpadi-Paivalike Urban Cooperative Society for the period from 18/11/2016, misappropriated a sum of Rs.1,63,33,451.00 by committing forgery in the documents, thereby the accused has committed the abovesaid offences.
