JUDGEMENT

(1.) This is an application for anticipatory bail.

(2.) The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No. 527/2022 of Guruvayoor Police Station, Thrissur District alleging commission of offences punishable under Ss. 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code.

(3.) The prosecution allegation is that, the accused with an intention to cheat the defacto complainant collected money from her, and promised that he will arrange MBBS seat at Thrissur Jubilee Mission Hospital. The defacto complainant transferred an amount of Rs.10,10,000.00 from 13/11/2021 in three installments and by not arranging the same, accused has committed the above alleged offences.
