JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner is a Contractor, who has entered into a contract for execution of certain works, namely KUTTANAD PACKAGE-FMP-Mitigation of flood in Muttanveli Padom in Group I Padasekharams". The estimate of Probable Amount of Contract of the said work was Rs.41,578,428/-. Initial period of completion was 11 months from the date of handing over of the site.

(2.) I am not going into the merits of the matter, since the petitioner seeks only for a direction to the Government to consider his request as per Exhibit P6 to revise the rates or relieve him from the contract. Exhibit P12 is the further representation submitted by the petitioner.
