(1.) THE petitioner challenges the action on the part of the
(2.) ND respondent not permitting the petitioner to attend the regular class in the 1st respondent college. 2. The petitioner was a student in B.Sc (Mathematics) in the 4th semester when the dispute arose. According to the petitioner, the marriage undertaken by the petitioner has resulted in antagonism. In the counter affidavit filed by the respondents 1 and 2, the allegations have been denied. It is averred that while the petitioner was undergoing the course in the 4th semester, the Head of the Department of Mathematics of the college reported on 15.02.2012 that the petitioner has been absent from regular classes since 13.01.2012 without applying for leave of absence. Ext.R2(a) is the said communication. It is pointed out that the normal duration of the course is three years consisting of six semesters. The duration of each semester is five months inclusive of days of examination. The odd semester starts in June and ends in October and the even semester starts in December and ends in April.
