JUDGEMENT

(1.) IN these two writ petitions identical reliefs have been sought for. Petitioners are mainly seeking for a direction to the University to operate the rank list published for appointment to the post of Electricity Workers.

(2.) W.P.(C).No.12037/2009 is treated as the main case and the facts and other materials are discussed as stated therein.

(3.) A total number of 560 applications were there and the Selection Committee found that 378 Applications were valid. A practical test was conducted between 09/07/2005 to 12/07/2005 under the supervision of a subject expert. The candidates were evaluated on the basis of their eligibility to climb a pole and identify electrical tools.
