PALLIPUZHA MOHAMMED ASHARAF Vs. PASSPORT OFFICER

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner claims to be a holder of Indian Passport bearing No.H8428036 dated 29/11/2009 which was issued from the Assistant Consular Officer, Consulate General of India, Dubai. It is stated that the correct date of birth is 04/02/1968 but due to a mistake, in the passport it was shown as 01/06/1961. According to the petitioner, this error had occurred at the time of preparing the passport application. Ext.P2 is a copy of the abstract of the admission register of Government U.P. School, Pallikeri.

(2.) THE petitioner filed an application for correction through online on 02/07/2012. Ext.P3 is the copy of the application. It is stated that the application is not being received by the respondent. The petitioner, accordingly, seeks for a direction to receive the application and dispose of the same in accordance with law.
