JUDGEMENT

(1.) This is an application for anticipatory bail.

(2.) The petitioner is the accused in Crime No.254/2021 of Pothukal Police Station, Malappuram District alleging commission of offences under Ss. 450, 376(2)(n), 406, 420 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

(3.) The allegation against the petitioner is that he entered into a relationship with the de facto complainant on the promise of marriage and thereafter committed rape on her and also cheated her of gold and other ornaments.
