(2.) The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.2699 of 2020 of Cherthala Police Station registered for the offences punishable under Sections 354, 447, 509 and 294(b) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 7 and 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences.

(3.) The petitioner has been in custody since 25.12.2020.
