JUDGEMENT

(1.) The Petitioner seeks for a direction to Respondent Nos.1 and 2 to promote the Petitioner to a substantive vacancy of Lecturer in Polymer Technology at Government Polytechnic, Adoor which remains unfilled from June, 2009. The Petitioner has already filed representations as per Exts.P5 and P7.

(2.) The Petitioner joined the Technical Education Service as Tradesman on 17/08/2005 and she is working in the cadre of Trade Instructor with effect from 29/11/2007. She is a B.Tech Degree holder in Polymer Engineering with first class in the examination held by the Mahatma Gandhi University, namely, in the year 2001. It is pointed out that the probation in the cadre of Trade Instructor was declared with effect from 29/11/2008 and she is included in the seniority list of qualified hands for appointment as Lecturer in Polytechnic Colleges as as 31/12/2007 to 31/12/2009. These averments are evidenced by Exts.P1 and P2.

(3.) There will be a direction to the second Respondent to take a decision on Ext.P5 representation within a period of six weeks, if necessary after getting concurrence from the Government. The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
