JUDGEMENT

(1.) Pursuant to advise by the Kerala Public Service Commission, the petitioner joined service on 22.09.2010 as L.D. Clerk/Village Assistant in Land Revenue Department. Although the petitioner passed all departmental tests in time, because of delay in obtaining police verification report the petitioner's probation in the post was not declared.

(2.) The same was done only by Ext.P4 order dated 28.10.2004 and his appointment was regularised by Ext.P3 order dated 23.09.2004. The petitioner's grievance in this writ petition is that in the meantime the juniors of the petitioners were promoted as U.D.Cs/SVOs as per order dated 29.1.2003.

(3.) The petitioner was promoted only by Ext.P6 order dated 30.11.2004. As a result, the petitioner ranks as junior to his juniors. The petitioner seeks revised date of promotion as well as revision of the seniority. Seeking this relief the petitioner has filed Ext.P9 representation before the 1st respondent.
