JUDGEMENT

(1.) The Petitioner is operating a stage carriage on the route Kozhikode-Koyilandy. She is operating the stage carriage as per the time schedules settled way back in the year 2007. On account of introduction of other services and other changes in circumstances, the Petitioner has filed Ext.P2 application dated 23.11.2010 before the Respondent for revision of timings. The grievance voiced by the Petitioner is that though nearly two months have passed after Ext.P2 application was submitted, till date orders have not been passed thereon. In this writ petition, the Petitioner seeks a direction to the Respondent to consider the request made in Ext.P2 application and take an appropriate decision thereon within a time limit to be fixed by this Court.

(2.) Sri M.A. Asif, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the Respondent submits that if Ext.P2 application has been received and is pending, the Respondent will consider the same and take an expeditious decision thereon, in accordance with law, after notice to the other existing operators.
