JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner is a Junior Superintendent working in the Collectorate, Malappuram. He is a native of Irimpliyam village in Tirur Taluk, which is 60 kms. away from Malappuram Collectorate. THEre is an anticipated vacancy in the office of the Tahsildar, Tirur. THE petitioner seeks a transfer to that vacancy. THE petitioner's grievance is that juniors to the petitioners have been accommodated in the places of their choice overlooking the better claim of the petitioner. In the above circumstances, the petitioner has filed Exts.P1 and P6 representations in this regard before the 3rd respondent. THE petitioner seeks a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider and pass orders on Exts.P1 and P6 expeditiously.
