JUDGEMENT

(1.) This is an application seeking regular bail filed under Section 439 of the Cr.PC.

(2.) The applicant is the sole accused in Crime No.1511/2020 of Angamaly Police Station for having allegedly committed offence punishable under Section 302 IPC.

(3.) The prosecution case, in brief, is that on 15.8.2020 at about 6.30 p.m. at Marangadamkara in Karukutty Village, the defacto complainant's uncle aged 65 years had some altercation with the applicant and the applicant allegedly slapped him and pushed him down the road causing his head to hit on a stone on the road and he sustained a fatal fracture on the scalp, to which he succumbed. The applicant was arrested on the following day and remanded to judicial custody.
