JUDGEMENT

(1.) This writ petition was filed for police protection. The petitioner is carrying a business of cement and hollow bricks in Melavettipuram within the Pathanamthitta Municipality.

(2.) According to the petitioner, the area of his establishment is not covered by the Kerala Head Load Workers (Regulation of Employment and Welfare) Scheme, 1983 ( for short, 'the Scheme') under the Kerala Head Load Workers Act.

(3.) Taking note of the above, this Court, on 22.11.2019, passed the following interim order:
