JUDGEMENT

(1.) Application for pre-arrest bail.

(2.) Petitioner is the 2nd accused in Crime No. 1660 of 2019 of Hill Palace Police Station registered for the offences punishable under Sections 120(B), 201,380 and 381 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code.

(3.) It is the case of the prosecution that accused Nos. 1 to 5 and 9 in furtherance of the criminal conspiracy hatched with the intention to earn money by illegal means, on 18.12.2019 had committed theft of 38.740 tonnes of steel rods worth Rs.20,00,000/- along with the co-accused and transported the same from the yard of Kamini Engineering Company, Irumpanam and stacked in the property taken on rent by one Shamsuddin and thereby committed the aforesaid offences.
