K.P.MANOJ Vs. DISTRICT EDUCATIONAL OFFICER

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner says that he is the senior most test-qualified Teacher working in the Dr.K.B.Menon Memorial Higher Secondary School, Trithala and seeks transfer to the Tharakan Higher Secondary School, which is managed by the 4th respondent-Manager.

(2.) According to the petitioner, even though his application for transfer has been affirmatively considered by the Educational Authorities, culminating in Exts.P6 and P7 proceedings of the Deputy Director of Education (DDE), Palakkad and the District Educational Officer, Malappuram, respectively, no action has been taken by the 1st respondent- District Educational Officer (DEO), Ottappalm until now.

(3.) The petitioner, therefore, prays that the 1st respondent be directed to issue orders approving his transfer to the 4th respondent- School on completing all the formalities, as have been stipulated by the 3rd respondent- District Educational Officer in Ext.P7 communication.
