(1.) The petitioners in these cases - which are being considered together on account of the analogous nature of the factual circumstances pleaded and the reliefs sought for - are stated to be 'young and energetic youth' (sic) seeking employment in the Government sector. They say that they are included in the rank list prepared by the Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC for short) and that they are aggrieved by the inaction of the official Authorities in reporting vacancies, which have occurred in the respective departments.
(2.) The petitioners point out that, through Ext.P3 proceedings of the High Court of Kerala, produced along with WP(C)No.23403/2019, one post of LD Clerk has been sanctioned to the Subordinate Judiciary and therefore, pray that the said vacancy be directed to be filled up by the competent respondent at the earliest.
(3.) I notice that when these Writ Petitions were considered by another learned Judge of this Court for admission, presumably noticing Ext.P3 proceedings of the High Court as mentioned above, there was a direction to the Principal District Judge, Kalpetta, Wayanad, to report one vacancy of LD Typist to the PSC before 5 p.m. on 30.08.2019 provisionally and subject to further orders. The learned Standing Counsel for the PSC, Sri.P.C.Sasidharan, affirms that this has been done by the learned District Judge and that such a vacancy has been provisionally reported.
