JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner, a driver in the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation presently stationed at Pathanamthitta, has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to transfer and post him at Erumely Operating Centre.

(2.) Sri.V.V.Nandagopal Nambiar, learned standing counsel appearing for the Corporation, submits that if the petitioner makes a request in that regard by submitting an appropriate application to the second respondent, the second respondent will consider the same and take a decision thereon expeditiously.

(3.) In the light of the said submission I dispose of the writ petition with a direction that in the event of the petitioner moving the second respondent seeking a transfer to Erumely Operating Centre or any other station of his choice, the second respondent shall consider the same and take an appropriate decision thereon expeditiously and in any event within two weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.
