JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioners in these two writ petitions entered Government service after putting in prior military service. For the purpose of granting of higher grade they want the military service also to be taken into account. According to them, they are so entitled to, in view of Exts.P7 to P9 judgments of this court. In the above circumstances, the petitioners have filed Ext.P14 series of representations before the 3rd respondent. Petitioners seek a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P14 series of representations in the light of Exts.P7 to P9 judgments and Ext.P10 order passed pursuant to those judgments expeditiously.

(2.) I have heard the learned Government Pleader also. In the facts and circumstances of the case, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P14 series of representations as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. While passing orders, the 3rd respondent shall consider the applicability of Exts.P7 to P9 judgments and Ext.P10 order to the facts of the petitioners' case.
