(2.) The petitioner has filed the present writ of certiorari, inter alia, with the following prayers :

The relevant facts of the case are that a departmental enquiry was initiated against the petitioner on 13.08.2009 on the allegation that without any reason he mercilessly gave beatings to Sohan Lal S/o Shri Tika Ram and Rajender S/o Sh. Puranwasi Yadav and thereby caused damage to the image of the police force.
