(1.) In 2017, the petitioner cleared the All India Senior School Certificate (AISSC) Examination, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The result was declared on 28th May, 2017. The petitioner scored 91.2%.
(2.) Consequent to his passing the All India Medical Entrance Examinations for admission to various medical colleges, the petitioner joined the Maulana Azad Medical College on 1st July, 2017. In May, 2018, he withdrew his admission from the said college, as he realised that his true calling was engineering, and not medicine.
(3.) As is the case with many aspiring engineers, the petitioner had set his eyes on joining one of the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
