PARVESH Vs. UNION OF INDIA AND ORS.

JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition has been filed by. The petitioner praying for directions against the respondents to rectify the medium for Data Entry Speed Testing (DEST)/Typing test of the petitioner from Hindi to English and allow the petitioner to take the said test in the English language.

(2.) Respondent No. 2 issued Notification in November, 2017 notifying the examination for recruitment to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretarial Assistant, Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operator.

(3.) In terms of Clause 13 of the Notification, the examination consisted, of a Computer Based Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and typing Jest/Skill Test(Tier-III).
