SHIVANI MALIK Vs. STATE (NCT OF DELHI)

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Petitioner seeks Regular bail in FIR No. 632/2018 under Sections 279/337/304-A of the Indian Penal Code, Police Station Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi.

(2.) Subject FIR was registered consequent to an accident that took place involving the car alleged being driven by the petitioner. The offending vehicle was being driven at a very high speed. It hit a two-wheeler and then hit a divider and thereafter overturned on the opposite side and hit another vehicle and overturned on the third car. One lady lost her life whereas three persons were injured.

(3.) MLC of the petitioner showed a very high level of intoxication.
