JUDGEMENT

(1.) -Late Kishan Gopal was travelling in Tempo bearing No. DEL 6417 on 20.11.1982, when there was head-on collision between said Tempo and truck bearing No. JKP 8611. The deceased sustained severe injuries resulting in his death.

(2.) Deceased was aged about 40 years at the time of his death and was survived by respondent Nos. 1 to 6 who filed the claim petition before the learned Tribunal.

(3.) Learned Tribunal passed an award for Rs. 1,44,000 along with interest at the rate of 12 per cent per annum in favour of respondent Nos. 1 to 6.
