(2.) Brief facts of the case as noted by the learned Trial Court is as under:

After investigation was over, charge-sheet against the accused persons was filed before the concerned Court for the offences punishable under Sections 498A/304B/34 of IPC as well as offences punishable under Section 306/34 to which they denied the allegations and claimed to be tried. To substantiate the accusation, the prosecution examined twelve witnesses in all. Statements of accused persons under Section 313 of Cr.P.C were recorded wherein they reiterated their innocence and examined one witness in their defence.
