JUDGEMENT

(1.) The appellant is aggrieved by the determination of the market value of their land which was compulsorily acquired. The land of the appellant which has been compulsorily acquired, bears khasra Nos. 15/3, 4/2, 7/1, 8/1, 15/6/2, 7/3 and 8/2, measuring 14 bighas, 10 biswas, and situated in village Kurani.

(2.) Village Kurani is situated close to the northern border of the Union Territory of Delhi. As stated by the learned Additional District Judge, village Kurani has abutting on his north western border village of Mamurpur town of Narela On the western and sourthern side it has Village Bhorgarh, and on the eastern side has village Singhola. Village Kurani lies in between G. T. Karnal Road on the eastern side, and Delhi-Sonepat railway line on its western side.

(3.) The learned Additional District Judge by the impugned award, has determined the market value of the land in village Kurani at the rate of Rs. 16,750.00 per bigha.
