JUDGEMENT

(1.) Rule. With the consent of the parties the matter is taken up for final disposal. The counsels also contended that no further affidavits are to be filed on behalf of the parties.

(2.) The petitioners have qualified 10+2 in vocational engineering stream and claim admission directly to second year/III semester of the diploma course run by the respondents in the present petition. The petitioners have claimed that the eligibility conditions laid down by the respondent Nos.1 and 2 are contrary to the eligibility conditions prescribed by respondent No.3, All India Council for Technical Education, and are, therefore, void and are not applicable to the petitioner and they seek quashing of the same.

(3.) Brief facts to appreciate the controversies between the parties are that the petitioners passed their Senior Secondary Examination in vocational stream subjects with 60% or above marks.
