JUDGEMENT

(1.) A classic case, we may say, of much ado about nothing.

(2.) The petitioner is a youth belonging to a humble rural background who desires to serve in the Indo Tibetan Border Police "ITBP". Consequent to Advertisement 11/2024, the petitioner applied for recruitment to the post of Constable (Driver). That he is qualified for the said post is not in dispute. The admit cards for the examination were issued nearly a year after the application on 3/11/2025.

(3.) At that time, the petitioner came to know that his application was rejected with the note - "Name is incorrect. Kindly re-submit application form within 03 days from today." This communication, according to the petitioner, was never received by him.
