The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioners, namely, Shri Sanjay Sharma, Shri Pawan Kumar Saraswat and Shri Deepak Mahendru for quashing of FIR No.205/2012 dated 13.09.2012,under Sections 420/467/468/471/506 /34 IPC registered at Police Station Kotwali on the basis of mediation report of the Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre, Delhi High Court, New Delhi arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos.2 & 3, namely, Shri Jinender Kumar Jain and Shri Bajrang Lal Bansal, respectively, on 23.11.2015.

This Court vide order dated 19.11.2015, directed the parties in the present case to appear before the Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre, Delhi High Court, New Delhi on 20.11.2015 at 3.00 p.m. for a possible amicable settlement. The said mediation centre has submitted its report. As per the report, the parties have amicably settled their disputes. It has been further stated that the two civil suits concerning property No.872-873, Gali Jutey Wali, Nai Sarak, Delhi-6 have already been withdrawn. It has been further stated that with the intervention of respectable persons of the society, the disputes have been resolved. The respondent no.2 & 3 have no objection if the FIR in question is quashed. Respondent Nos.2 & 3 have placed on record their affidavits dated 23.11.2013. In their affidavits, it has been stated they have compromised the matter without any fear, force or pressure and that all the disputes and differences have been resolved through mutual consent, thus they have no objection if FIR in question is quashed. Now no dispute remains between the respondent nos.2 & 3 and the petitioners and so, the proceedings arising out of the FIR in question be brought to an end.
(3.) In Gian Singh v. State of Punjab, 2012 10 SCC 303 Apex Court has recognized the need of amicable resolution of disputes in cases like the instant one, by observing as under:-
