JUDGEMENT

(1.) VIDE the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, petitioners seek quashing of F.I.R. No. 718/2015 registered at Police Station Nand Nagri, Delhi for the offences punishable under Sections 308/34 IPC and the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom against them.

(2.) LEARNED counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the aforesaid case was registered on the complaint of respondent No. 2, Sunny @ Aslam, who received injuries in the said scuffle. Both knew each other before the quarrel took place. Immediately, thereafter, they realised their mistake. Accordingly, respondent No. 2 has forgiven the petitioners and he does not want to pursue the case against them.

(3.) LEARNED APP appearing on behalf of the State submits that instant case was registered on 21.07.2015 and immediately after of the FIR, the petitioners and respondent No. 2 have settled their disputes and respondent No. 2 does not wish to pursue the case against them. Therefore, there would be no useful purpose, if the petitioners are directed to face the trial. Thus, the State has no objection if the present petition is allowed.
