JUDGEMENT

(1.) The cross Appeals under Sec. 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 have been filed on behalf of the Claimants and Insurance Company respectively, against the Award dtd. 11/10/2023.

(2.) In MAC.APP.22/2024, the Claimants have sought the enhancement of the compensation amount granted in the sum of Rs.12,58,516.00 along with interest @ 7% per annum, on account of death of Shri Ramji Vishwakarma in a road accident which took place on 4/12/2020.

(3.) The grounds on which the enhancement of compensation have been sought are as under: -
