JUDGEMENT

(1.) Vide the present petition, the petitioner is seeking following reliefs:

(2.) The case of the petitioner is that as per the Communication dtd. 29/3/2022, which is Annexure P-4 in the present petition, the petitioner is eligible for the promotion to the Post of Assistant Commandant.

Thereafter, the Zone of Consideration List dtd. 11/5/2022 was issued by the respondent No. 3/Inspector General (Pers.), wherein the name of the petitioner was missing, and the same came to the knowledge of the petitioner very late. After becoming aware of the Zone of Consideration List dtd. 11/5/2022, the petitioner made a Representation dtd. 13/3/2023 to the respondent No. 2/Director General, CISF for consideration of his candidature to the Post of Assistant Commandant. However, till date, no response to this effect has been received by the petitioner.
