JUDGEMENT

(2.) ON 11.8.1997, the writ petition was disposed of with the following directions: -

(3.) IN the year 1999, the bank undertook the exercise of promoting eligible officers from MMGS -II to MMGS -III. Being eligible, petitioner was considered. He was found suitable for promotion. On 28.9.1999, petitioner was communicated that he stood promoted from MMGS -II to MMGS -III w.e.f. 28.09.1999. It was intimated that petitioner would be on probation for one year, to be confirmed on satisfactory completion of the probation period.
