JUDGEMENT

(1.) This is an application under Section 438 read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. preferred by the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 20/2012 under Sections 498A/ 406/ 34 IPC registered at Police Station CAW Cell Nanakpura. The petitioner Monika Batra is the sister in law of complainant Tanushree. The petitioner was married on 1.12.1992 and was living in her own matrimonial, house at E-7, South Extension-1, new Delhi and has two children.

(2.) Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petition is allowed and it is directed that in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on bail on her furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs. 20,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of IO/SHO concerned subject to petitioner joining and cooperating in the investigation.
