MOHD SABIR Respondents

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE Appellant National Insurance Co. Ltd. seeks reduction of compensation of Rs. 2,40,220/- awarded for the death of Atish Ahmed who was aged 22 years at the time of the accident which occurred on 19.12.2005.

On adding further sum of Rs. 25,000/- towards loss of love and affection and expenses on last rites, a compensation of Rs. 2,40,220/- was awarded.
