SUDAMA PAL BHAGAT Vs. STATE OF CHHATTISGARH

JUDGEMENT

(1.) This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 08/2018, registered at Police Station-Excise Circle Akaltara, District Janjgir Champa (C.G.) for the offence punishable under Sections 34(1) (A), 34(2) and 59(A) of the Chhattisgarh Excise Act.

(2.) Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, 11.88 bulk liters of illicit liquor was seized by the police from the present applicant.

(3.) Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has not committed any offence and he has falsely been implicated in crime in question. He is in custody since 29.05.2018.
